Another in the RoomGifts' series of travel related imagery by Brushstrokes. These framed unique reproductions in unmatched quality provide the ultimate post-trip gift. This is from our golf destination series. With the course rain-soaked and the weather near freezing, Gene Sarazen and Craig Wood were tied at six under par during the 1935 Masters ... the "Second Annual Invitation Tournament". That's when Sarazen came to the fifteenth, where he scored a rare double eagle (three under par) on the 485-yard, par-5 hole and then went on to win the tournament. With its green fairway, the pond in front of the green and surrounding foliage, this hole was both a challenge and pleasure to paint. Linda Hartough captures the feeling a golfer gets when he looks at the hole ... not just the image in his eyes, but the emotion the hole's history communicates.
