This is the top item from our Mercerized Collection. The smooth and lustrous double mercerized fabrics are the ultimate in luxury and style. We use two plys of extra fine yarns, twisted together and mercerized, removing all of the tiny fiber ends or "fuzz" from the yarn. After the yarns are knit into fabric they are then mercerized again, creating a beautiful sheen and fine hand. This process strengthens the yarn and improves dye penetratiojn so the colors are rich and dazzling. The end result is the finest mercerized fabrics available. 100% ringspun combed cotton 60's two-ply double mercerized yarn-dyed jersey stripe. Solid flat knit collar and hemmed, set-in sleeves. Three button reinforced placket with matte pearl buttons. Construction details include double-needle topstitching, taped shoulder seams, back neck patch and clean, finished hem with side vents. Includes replacement button. Machine wash gentle, line dry. 4.4 oz.
