Another in the RoomGifts' series of travel related imagery by Brushstrokes. These framed unique reproductions in unmatched quality provide the ultimate post-trip gift. The "Thatched Cottages at Cordeville, Auvers-sur-Oise" was painted in 1890 when, as if knowing his days were numbered, Van Gogh painted more than 70 pictures in two months. He expressed joy discovering this picturesque village with humble cottages of grey and brown roofs. He paints heavenly in the sky, and as if to stimulate the texture of the thatch itself, changing the field into a green waterfall giving the whole scene an aspect of fantasy.
